PREMIERE: noc:turne - Pluie [Right Hand Corner]

Young talented producer hailing from Brussels, noc:turne is not a stranger here at Delayed. With his previous two releases, 'Expo 58' and 'Somewhere in Time,' released via Right Hand Corner, noc:turne has presented his style influenced by record labels like Giegling and Kann. His third outing on Right Hand Corner, 'pas:sage' (a play on words in french meaning unwise), continues in a similar fashion and brings us a four-track EP consisting of some of his earlier works refreshed and put together in an excellent package.
The opening track and our premiere for today, 'Pluie,' sets the tone for the rest of the release with a dazzling mood and ethereal atmosphere.
The track starts with rumbling bass, thunder, and rain in the background, which create a haunting moment that almost instantly dissolves into a serene atmosphere when airy, delicate pads fade in and create the melancholy mood for this beautiful track. With its broken beat, sampled vocals, and aforementioned serene atmosphere, 'Pluie' makes an ideal partner for your next road trip or closing track during the sunset overlooking Manhattan (it's so lovely having these back again).

‘pas:sage’ EP is coming out on June 30th via Right Hand Corner
