Our long time favorite and arguably one of the best record selectors in the game, Ripperton takes us for a beautiful down tempo ride to the moon and back. Francis Harris - Kingdoms Potlatch No.1

Scissor & Thread label co-owner and arguably one of the Brooklyn’s finest producers, Francis Harris has announced new series of podcasts that will lead to launch of his new imprint. We certainly can’t wait to here what’s new cooking in Francis’ lab, since whatever he touches and releases turns into pure gold. Kingdoms Potlatch No.1 is emotional and relaxing voyage that spans from ambient to dub to deep house, and all that layered with magnificent organic percussions and haunting guitar riffs.

Luca Bacchetti  - The Invisible Creates The Invisible

Probably our favorite mix of the month. Courtesy of Endless label boss Luca Bacchetti, this 2 and a half hour mix is pure bliss, and is an outstanding musical tale. Phenomenal from start to finish this mix will for sure be on your top list. We won’t spoil the enjoyment, just press play and enjoy. 

Nuno Dos Santos - Groove Podcast 108

The SoHaSo label boss is back with yet another incredible musical journey. If there’s a DJ that knows how to play eclectic sets that make sense and have a nice flow, it's Nuno. Exclusive for German Groove magazine, this mix has everything. It goes places, it’s fun to listen to, and as we've become accustomed to from Nuno, it has an immaculate track list. On repeat! 

Map.ache - A Big Love Podcast

Leipzig’s finest imprint is definitely one of our favorite ones, and Kann’s label boss Jan Barich better known as map.ache, is an artist that we respect and support. Map.ache’s productions are always bringing us something new and different, twisting and shaping house and techno genres in a very unique way. It’s no different with his podcasts. Top-notch track lists and perfect flow are always present in map.ache’s mixes. This mix is the latest for Leipzig’s mastermind and it’s an exclusive for French magazine Tsugi and ahead of his appearance at Big Love Festival in Rennes in June.  It’s a beautiful 1-hour voyage with an ambient opening and closing, and filled with beautiful house, techno and break beat in between. 

Kalabrese - Compost Black Sessions 142

Swiss maestro Kalabrese released a majestic EP on his own imprint Rumpelmusiq a few weeks ago, with a mesmerizing remix of yet another Swiss mastermind and our long time favorite, Ripperton. Kalabrese brings us a beautiful guest mix for infamous Compost Black Sessions that contains tracks from Jimi Jules, Soukie and Windisch, Henrik Schwarz and a couple of new jams by the man himself. An hour long journey that is sure to be on repeat.

Joakim - ZeeZout Podcast 021

A multi-talented musician, producer, and DJ hailing from France but residing in Brooklyn, Joakim recently released his 6th full-length LP named ‘Samurai’ via his own Tigersushi record label. Joakim is known as a great record selector, and knows how to make a crowd dance. Whether it’s Panorama Bar or a dark warehouse or a fashion show after party, Joakim will work his magic and put a smile on your face. We had an opportunity to enjoy his outstanding set in the unique setting of a Mayan temple earlier this year when he played the Life and Death showcase. If you happen to be around when Joakim is playing, just go and let this magician take you for a ride.  

Switchdance - IV 71 Podcast

The resident of Lisbon’s infamous night club Lux Fragil, Marco Antao, better known as Switchdance has come under our radar with a couple of releases that have been heavily supported by some of our favorite producers. Known for his eclectic style Switchdance didn’t change his style a bit for this exclusive mix for the mighty Innervisions’ IV series. Low in tempo, high in genre diversity, this mix is a pleasant journey that can be enjoyed at any time of day. 

In2Deep - EG 632

L’enfant terrible record label bosses, In2Deep have been very busy lately. Their cutting edge deep productions have been released on labels like Seven Villas, Akbal and Musik Gewinnt Freunde, and have gained support from likes of Pablo Bolivar, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, and Lee Burridge to name a few. Their exclusive mix for Electronic Groove is one of our favorites this month. Deep house as it is supposed to sound. A lovely one hour mix by super a talented duo based in Montreal. 

Sevensol - Kannmix 16

Kannmix series is one of our favorite ones. For this month they have one of their label bosses, Sevensol on board. This mix is the live recording from Sevensol’s set that he played at Institut fuer Zukunft in Leipzig, Germany earlier this month. Sevensol was on the bill alongside The Black Madonna and Job Jobse in what was a night to remember. The mix has a proper flow, unfolding from downtempo to house and techno through break beat and acid with the tracks by Invisible Conga People, Youandewan, Herbert, Bwana, Fort Romeau, John Talabot and many others. 

Patrice Baumel - Afterlife Voyage 003

Patrice Baumel has been one of the most in dmenad producers and Dj’s in the last couple of months. After series of fantastic remixes of Cubicolor, Masaya, Damian Lazarus and Max Cooper, his floor banging EP named Glutes has come out on Tale Of Us’ imprint Afterlife, and conquered dancefloors around the globe. In the light of that release, Patrice made an exclusive mix for Afterlife Voyage series. The mix is a true voyage through melodic house and techno with above-mentioned remixes of Patrice and tracks by Superpitcher, Young Marco, and Ewan Pearson to name few. 

Denis Horvat - Fresh Kicks

Super talented Danish producer, Denis Horvat has become regular at FictionLab, and it’s for a reason. His phenomenal production is paired with ever fresh and interesting mixes. This time we have a peak time mix exclusive to DJ Mag. Enjoy some of the biggest hits at this moment and of course future hits in this one-hour long mix. 

Marc Poppcke - Favorites Of The Month May 2017

Jennifer Cardini - Live at DGTL Festival, 04.15.2017

Correspondant label boss, Jennifer Cardini is known for her groovy, synthy, 80’s-influenced mixes. This is the recording from her set at DGTL festival in Amsterdam in April where she played on the RA Stage. You’ll enjoy tracks by DJ Tennis, Marvin & Guy, Red Axes and V to name a few in this pure energy party mix! 

Hunter/Game - XLR8R Podcast 492

Italian duo Hunter/Game took the electronic music scene by storm after a series of great releases and remixes on labels like Last Night on Earth, Kompakt and Just This to name few. After a fairly quiet the last couple of months the duo is back with this astonishing mix for XLR8R. Its a deep melodic techno voyage that never lacks excitement.

Rampa - DHA Mix #289

Keinemusik’s label honcho, Rampa has released the long-awaited Hall Of Violence EP on Innervisions a few days ago. One of the most respected producers from Berlin, he never fails to disappoint with his percussion-driven production and DJ style. Rampa made an exclusive mix for our friends from Deep House Amsterdam. The mix contains all three tracks from his latest EP together with some of the exclusive edits by this man of the moment. 

Gemini Brothers - Vitrina Radio Show #2

The second installment of Vitrina Radio Show brings us Romanian duo Gemini Brothers. In the light of their latest release on Eskimo Recordings on which they had our friends SBTH from Lossless as a remix guests, Gemini Brothers delivered this minimalistic and groovy mix for Vitrina Concept from Sarajevo. The mix is in recognizable Romanian minimal style and its great for warm up or listening to it in a car.  

Zopelar - live @ DGTL Festival Sao Paolo 05.06.2017

Pedro Zopelar is a co-founder of fantastic boutique record label ‘In Their Feelings’ from Sao Paolo, Brazil. Together with his partner in crime, Davis, Zopelar represents arguably the best that the Brazilian underground has to offer. Zopelar recently performed at the Sao Paolo edition of hte infamous DGTL festival, and we are lucky enough to have the whole recording of his live set to share with you. Its a mighty techno set that will leave you speechless, and wishing you that you were one of the lucky ones in the crowd that day. 

Krink - Morning Madness (Live at Kater Blau, May 2017)

Krink is back to FictionLab with a powerful live techno set. The set was recorded at Berlin’s favorite Kater Blau on Sunday morning in May. This fantastic techno set by the super talented German producer, who we had a pleasure to host last year, will put you in the right mood for a night out! 

Alex Niggemann - Watergate Podcast #23

Alex Niggemann is a usual suspect at FictionLab. He recently released the Legacy EP on his own Aeon imprint and gained support from leading DJ’s on the underground music scene. Alex also made the latest Watergate podcast and it’s a dancefloor-ready voyage at it’s best. Tracks by Denis Horvat, Love Over Entropy, Adriatique and Hunter/Game to name a few will properly rock your speakers.
