Favorite Mixes from November 2022
With the winter lurking and shorter daylight upon us, the comfort of our home with a hot beverage in hand and music in the background seems like a preferable scenario. Our list from November features music tales that fit perfectly the setting we just described. Mixes are listed in no particular order.
F-on - On The 5th Day Podcast #165
Recordings from this year's edition of Paral.lel festival are still incoming to our feeds, and it's just getting better and better. This time we have the set from one of our ultimate favorites, DJ's DJ, the one and only F-on. This was an opening set on Friday that perfectly set up the mood for the rest of the weekend. Warm, subtle, and of course, as deep as it gets, this mix is yet another gem from the master of his craft. Alfonso Pomeda aka F-on.
Luigi Tozzi and Antonio Ruscito - The Memoir, Page 90
Even though both producers have already contributed to the beloved Memoir series in the past, this mix is a totally different animal and journey for itself. The Italians have done it again! Luigi Tozzi and Antonio Ruscito have created a mind-bending voyage exclusively of unreleased live jams. It really doesn't get much better than this when it comes to deep techno. Its driving groove, layered with hypnotic sequences, will instantly teleport you to outer space.
Artefakt - RRFM Delsin Radio, November 24
Music from the Dutch duo Artefakt has a special place in our hearts here at Delayed. It hits the sweet spot between 90's electronica and 21st-century techno, but their magic doesn't stop there. When behind the decks, Artefakt takes you for one-of-a-kind journeys depending on the setting. In this case, we have a lovely mix for Delsin radio that fits home listening to the best or chilling at your favorite bar. The last quarter of the mix, though, will shake things up and tease what Artefakt brings to the club setting.
Philipp Priebe - Feuilleton Podcast 012
We can't get enough of Philipp Priebe and his hazy, dubby house. After the release of his magnificent album and brilliant live mix that he made for our podcast series, Philipp comes with another fantastic mix. This time it's a hybrid of his upcoming tracks and two unreleased remixes of his tracks by well-known producers from the dub techno scene. If you like your house deep and hazy, look no further.
Toki Fuko - 꿈 kkum 40
The latest mix from Toki Fuko is an ideal soundtrack for these last fall days ahead of us. His eclectic, dark, and intricate selections will be your best friend during times when you don't want to be bothered.
Aaron J & Severja at Midgar x Harmony, July’22
B2B set is a specific kind of animal in the music jungle. When done right, the unpredictability and intricacy usually create a unique, powerful atmosphere on the dance floor that few things can match. The recording we have here is a perfect example of it. During the sunny July afternoon at Midgar x Harmony party in Berlin's gART.n two label bosses, Aaron J (Sure Thing) and Severja (Midgar) joined forces and delivered this coherent, hypnotic mix that keeps the listener engaged with each new track.
XDB - Mutant Radio, November 12
During his Tbilisi visit, the master of the craft, XDB, visited popular Mutant Radio and presented us with 90min of the finest house, techno, and everything in between.
Iron Curtis - Radio on Vacation
This is an hour of true house music extravaganza by our dear friend and one of the most talented producers and DJs, Iron Curtis. This is a feel-good mix all the way and should be listened to often and loudly.
John Talabot @ Soundit, Barcelona
The recording of John Talabot's mix at the Soundit party in Barcelona is a groovy, cosmic, tribal journey that, in moments, goes shamanic and euphoric, creating a hypnotic atmosphere unique for JT.
Vand & Alfred Czital - RRFM November 23
Two producers and DJs close to our hearts, Vand and Alfred Czital, took over the booth at Radio Radio and delivered two hours of quirky tech house and deep techno perfectly suitable for late nights on the dance floor. Be on the lookout for these two. Something special is cooking!

Two legends, DJ Jus ED and Move D joined forces for the first time in Brooklyn a few weeks ago, and it's everything you wanted it to be. This 5+ hours recording from Golden Record is like a music course in house music. If you have a friend who has yet to be introduced to house music, play them this mix and watch the magic happen.
Vinsen - Above Below
A month or so ago, during the ADE, our paths crossed with The Hague-based DJ and big musichead, Vinsen, whose mixes we've enjoyed listening to ever since. The latest mix Vinsen made for Above Below is right there with the rest of the journeys he's made so far. You can tell when someone puts thought and extra effort into creating an incredibly smooth, well-programmed mix that is a joy to return to after the first listening. Vinsen's mixes are how we like our mixes to sound, and we couldn't recommend them more. Buckle up. You're in for a treat.
