PREMIERE: Joannes - Harmonics [Patron Records]

Joannes, formerly known as Malbetrieb and Sad Girl, is a usual suspect here at Delayed. With releases on labels like Something Happening Somewhere, Mary Go Wild, RFR, and his own Lines imprint, Joannes has slowly but surely become recognizable for emotive, multi-layered melodic techno.

The tracks from the latest 'Comfort' EP, which is coming out on February 24th via Patron Records, are all made in one take, arranged on the fly with knob tweaking and key playing all done in one recording.

We are excited to premiere 'Harmonics', in our opinion, the standout track from the 'Comfort' EP. 'Harmonics' is groovy, hypnotic techno, topped with lush, layered pads and intricate rhythms. It's an essential after-hours material, and the track you could listen to for hours.
