PREMIERE: Axel Toben - Up The Tree [Qeone]
On deck for today's premiere comes in the form of Axel Toben aka Alejandro Bento, and his song, ‘Up The Tree’. Coming in as the final track on his forthcoming Qeone release titled ‘Tombo’, the veteran Spaniard producer flexes his musical versatility throughout the release by storming through raucous dance floor fillers, muted broken beat melodic moments, no nonsense techno, and ending properly with our premiere track.
Akin to a massive exhale and release of energy, those moments immediately after a large climatic moment, ‘Up The Tree’ begins with pensive melodies that ease the listener into a state of contentedness. That all is well, the afterglow in full effect, supplemented by stellar drum programming and an ear-worm like melody that hits precisely to carry this satisfied feeling on for the duration of the track.
