PREMIERE: Mogambo - Matum (राजा) (Benedikt Frey's Space Cat Re-Interpretation) [Siamese Twins Records]

The Cobra extends its skin to welcome Benedikt Frey and Yu Su to Thailand's Siamese Twin Records family.
Today we are excited to premiere the Space Cat Re-interpretation from the German producer, DJ, and founder of the Love Pain Sunshine & Rain Label, Benedikt Frey.

Well known for his fearless production, Frey masterfully reworks the relatively straightforward Mogambo's Matum, released on Cobra EP in September 2020, into a dubby sci-fi-esque wormhole. Bit-by-bit re-creating a technogenic ambition of launching cosmic troopers cats to conquer outer space, Frey transforms the original track into a beautiful and trippy multi-dimensional collage inspired by the tribal leftfield sounds.

Mogambo Remixed w/ Yu Su & Benedikt Frey Remixes is out on Nov 16, 2020, via Siamese Twins Records.
