PREMIERE: Orion - Dear Blue [Orion]

Once again — the genius Italian duo is back on Delayed, this time with a premiere from the fifth release on their eponymous label.
Orion have been consistently defying boundaries within house and dub techno, and this EP is no different. Dear Blue, the A2 track, is a bright, house-y slow-burner. Starting out with a kick drum with airy pads above it, before a gleaming melody enters and lightens the track’s mood even more. The sample makes the track quite trippy and nostalgic, and the percussion gives it a dance-y feel, making the track all in all perfect for dance floors — whether during a warmup set or a peak time set.
Due to COVID-19, the “Cinque” EP’s release date is yet to be determined, but hopefully, it will be out sometime within the next month.
