PREMIERE: Siadic - Beginnings [Naga]
For our musical explorations today, we look to the west coast of Canada, and the newly formed, NAGA imprint. The label is spreading its proverbial wings for the first time under the expert guidance of IHA and looks to fellow Canadians, Siadic for their first release. The duo has created a versatile 7 tracker that flows from ambient to breakbeat, dub, to house and back and again.
Our premiere for today is the aptly named, ‘Beginnings’. Bright melodies and bouncing synths greet the ears, as dubby percussion slowly builds underneath. The wobbly bass lines contrasting the crisp synths ever so nicely.
Beginnings and the rest of the Metro release, will be out on Naga, January 12th.
