PREMIERE: Uanamani - Sexto Sentido [On Board Music]

If ambient tracks were salads, then most would be best described as caprese: a slice of some mozzarella, a slice of tomato, stick a basil leaf on top, and drizzle it with balsamic vinegar. Done! Enjoy! In other words, “ambient” salads are typically constructed with just a couple of carefully chosen and carefully mixed ingredients. Sometimes, ingredients are of good quality and the track shines and sometimes not so much. It’s a real treat, then, when an ambient chef presents us with a little more than a caprese.

Uanamani clearly earns a Michelin star when it comes to salads: Sexto Sentido is a musical version of something like a Mexican salad: countless ingredients, bursting with colors, shapes and flavors, skillfully mixed. Add some playful corn melodies, add black beans for something rhythmic, throw some cilantro to add freshness, some peppers for spice. You could hear all that and more in 5 minutes during the track and it’s a real treat for the senses.
