TAPE OF THE MOMENT: Seduction, Lawrence, Rafael Kasma - SPACES [Dustycass]

Some releases require changing a whole category to keep on honoring it - so this month’s track of the moment turns into the TAPE OF THE MOMENT, because why not?
While experiencing the dream that is the festival Waking Life, “Dustycass 003" was hidden in the dusty spheres behind Outro Lado.  Festival attendants had to catch the right moment or have the right intuition to find this beauty that has an edition of only 100 copies.

Fleeting experiences, the ones you try to catch and hold on to, are not supposed to be caught but to be fully cherished in the present. This tape, curated by Seduction, reminds us of that. Compiling tracks of Seduction himself, Rafael Kasma and Lawrence, “SPACES” is a collection of bright ambient and elegant breakbeat that creates a comforting soul-soothing journey.

Seduction’s dreamy textures and voices on Side A transition into spheric, crystalline ambient (Lawrence “Amanita”) to then conclude Side B with Kasma’s 13-minute immersion “Seraya Secret Trip Resort”. “Spaces” certainly reminisces and induces dreamlike states, floating between here and now and a phantasy. Just like us watching soap bubbles rising up in the sky with childlike eyes…
