PREMIERE: Mielafon – Labyrinth (Alexander Bogdanov Remix) [spclnch]
Fresh from the Dutch dub techno, and house label, Spclnch (read Spacelunch) is the forthcoming Labyrinth EP from the mysterious Mielafon. Full to the brim with groove and feeling, our premiere for today lands squarely on Alexander Bogdanov and his take of the title track.
Building upon the melodic cues from the original, the Minsk based Bogdanov takes things in a decidedly more subdued fashion. Letting the chords develop and swell to the forefront, all while peppering in bits of texture, of claps, a hiss here and there. These details all lend towards a warm overall feeling that works well within the confines of bass-line and staccato like high-hats.
Alexander Bogdanov’s remix, and in turn the rest of the EP will be out via Spclnch on October 14th, 2021.
