PREMIERE: Practitioner - Journal [Lissoms]

Berlin-based imprint Lissoms welcomes its founder Edmondson and his long time friend Practitioner for a split 6-track EP named - Linhope.

Practitioner has been active for well over a decade under numerous aliases - releasing field recordings, musique concrete, and ethnic percussive sounds; with his electronic productions floating ambiguously between UK-centric bass music and Romanian minimal.

Once a resident at the notorious Berlin institution Tacheles, he has material forthcoming later this year on Well Street Records, amongst others. “Journal” is driven by an atmospheric breakbeat that evokes introspection segued into a delicate rhythmic interplay between mallet percussion and distilled melancholic chords.

Linhope EP is coming out on June 12th via Lissoms.
