PREMIERE: Vera Logdanidi - Essence [Rhythm Büro]
Today’s musical rumblings come in the form of Ukrainian DJ and producer, Vera Logdanidi, and her first ever solo release, Banksia. This also marks her first contribution in six years to her own imprint, Rhythm Büro that she co-runs with Oleksandr Pavlenko (aka Na Nich) and Igor Glushko. Her discerning style of musical productions give a refined vibe that hits in all the right places.
Essence, our premiere for today sits pleasantly within the deeper side of things, the muted melody seems to glide throughout, accompanied by the pop of claps and the steady throbbing kicks. Almost seeming to invoke memories of a smoky lounge or basement filled to the brim with dancing bodies.
